About HR & IR Clinic

Our founder,

Surendranath a Sr HR & IR professional with proven experience of 35 years in industry and 15 years in HR & IR consulting, founded NuLineHR Consulting in the year 2011 to support industry in helping them solve workplace issues. He realized that SMEs in India are not able to hire experienced HR professionals to head their HR function, and the junior HR professionals lack the strategic experience and approach and are confined only to a little transactional experience. This identified need of industry made him create this online live video consulting at an affordable price in the model of a clinic and call it HR & IR Clinic.

He had the opportunity to study during early 1970s, at one of the top five schools of Social Work of that time in India offering specialization in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations, the Indore School of Social Work, Indore (1972-1974).

At 23 years of age,

His journey started in HR career (known as personnel management those days) as a labor welfare officer in the rank of HoD at Nizam Sugar Factory Ltd reporting to the unit head and handling the entire range of Personnel & ADMN function at the unit level.

His Career Goes On

He worked in some of the reputed large industries, holding various positions like Personnel Officer, Personnel & ADMN Manager, DGM and General Manager HR & ADMN in a span of 35 years. He dealt with the entire range of HR with a bias for industrial relations and was involved in some of the trend-setting innovative settlements. The organizations he worked with are ACC-VICKERS-Babcock (Heavy Engineering), A.P. Rayons (A BILT Group Company) (continuous process) , Allwyn Nissan cum Mahindra Nissan (Automobile manufacturing LCVs), Sumitra Pharma (Bulk Drugs), Rock Wool India (Mineral Wool), Sangam Alumimium (Metal Extrusion), Falcon Tyres, JK Tyres, BMM Ispat Ltd (integrated steel plant).

He had the opportunity to work in three States, Telengana (erstwhile Adhra Pradesh), Karnatka and Tamil Nadu.

He has15 years experience in HR&IR Consulting and Corporate Training. Some of his prestigious assignments include designing and developing India HRM Handbook for Toyota Motors, Japan (Global Labour Relations Department, Tokyo), for their expatriate managers posted in India. Other assignments are Britannia Industries: studied contract labor management in the Bidadi industrial area and submitted recommendations; Sartorious: HR policies; and Mysore Sandal Soap factory by partnering with iDeck: manpower Opimization.
